To get a sense of Barnaul public transport, this link is a great deal of fun. It provides nearly realtime positioning of city tram, bus, and marshrutnoe taksi on a zoomable map. Watching the little colors marking each type of transport zip around the map is oddly entrancing, though I was roundly castigated for taking up precious bandwith on the wifi to do so. But those of you who are not residing in the dorms with us can safely do so without affecting our internet service :).
